CLERK AND RECORDERS OFFICE SERVICE UPDATE

**Updated February 4, 2021

Due to possible COVID exposures in our office, the Clerk and Recorders services will be severely limited pending contact tracing and testing. Beginning February 4, 2021 until further notice, our office will be unable to process any in person transactions and all vehicle registrations, license plates, and vehicle titles will ONLY be available to customers via mail.

The Norwood Motor Vehicle office at the Glockson building will not be open for appointments, however, we will pick up items from the drop box at the Glockson building daily.

We will have an extremely limited staff available to take phone calls and respond to emails, and will continue to process any Motor Vehicle registrations that are done online (mydmv.colorado.gov), dropped in our drop box, or received via mail. There will be delays in processing these due to our limited staff, and all registrations will be mailed to you during this time.

Documents for recording will be accepted via E-File, mail, or drop box and also mailed back to you when recorded.

Marriage Licenses as well as birth and death certificates will be temporarily unavailable until further notice.

Please call 970-728-3954 or email our office with any questions or concerns, or email dmv@sanmiguelcountyco.gov or clerkandrecorder@sanmiguelcountyco.gov

Thank you for your understanding and patience while we ensure that our staff is healthy. We look forward to meeting your needs in a more efficient manner once we are able to staff our offices at a higher level.
