San Miguel County is in the process of updating the Land Use Code to include regulations regarding solar energy, renewables and major utilities. We are also updating the natural resources regulations, including oil and gas, mining and logging.

San Miguel County currently has a moratorium on all solar and major utility projects. There are no pending land use applications for solar projects.
