The first event on May 12th will be held at the Norwood Fairgrounds from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Yard waste, household refuse, furniture, scrap metal, and e-waste (for a fee) will be accepted. Hazardous waste will not be accepted. Please do not bring appliances with freon, such as refrigerators, freezers, or AC units. Please note that e-waste will only be accepted from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and fees may apply.
The second Hazardous Waste Disposal event in Telluride will take place at the Telluride Carhenge Parking Lot on May 18th and 19th. Electronic waste will be accepted on Friday the 18th from noon until 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday the 19th from 9:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Town of Telluride will also hold a Spring Clean-up at Carhenge on Saturday the 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will accept appliances, scrap metal, tires, vehicle batteries, and other household and garden refuse.
