[ARCHIVED] CDOT to Chip Seal Hwy 141 North of Slick Rock

SOUTHWEST COLORADO ― The Colorado Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be working at two separate locations in southwest Colorado this week, Tuesday through Friday, September 11 - 14. 


  • Tuesday, September 11 ― CO Highway 151, mile points (MP) 15-16 
    • A crew will be performing paving operations on CO 151 about 15 east of Ignacio, near Arboles. 
  • Tuesday - Friday, September 11-14 ― CO Highway 141, MP 21.4 – 25.5 
    • A crew will be chip sealing the roadway, north of Dove Creek and near Slick Rock. 


TRAVEL IMPACTS:

Crews will be working from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists will encounter brief delays. Motorists should be prepared for stops and one-lane alternating traffic guided by flaggers and a pilot vehicle. The speed limit will be reduced to 40 MPH in the work zone. CDOT urges the traveling public to slow down and be aware of workers and equipment on the roadway.
