[ARCHIVED] Census 2020 Information Session Scheduled at the Wilkinson Public Library

Census 2020 Make San Miguel Count

Census 2020 Information Session

  • Date: Monday, 12/09/2019
  • Time: 11:45am -1:00pm
  • Location: Main Program Room, Wilkinson Public Library,
                     100 W Pacific Ave, Telluride, CO 81435

This will be a great opportunity for you to learn about the upcoming Census and how you can help ensure that San Miguel County, Ouray County, and the West End of Montrose County are counted in 2020. The event will include a complimentary lunch.

Event Details

In 2010, our region was undercounted in the census resulting in a loss of funding from the State and Federal Government over the past ten years. We want to make sure that in 2020 we are counted! It is critical for many of our organizations for funding and resources over the next 10 years.

We want to invite you to a meeting of key stakeholders to learn about the 2020 Census, how you can help to get the word out about the census, and to plan for our Census outreach in the spring of 2020.

We will be joined by Brian Meinhart, Partnership Specialist, for the US Census Bureau. Brian is located in Grand Junction and is working to support local efforts, hire local census workers, and encourage participation in the Census.

Please RSVP by Wednesday, December 4th for this event by going to the Tri-County Health Network Event Registration page and using the "Register Here" link. This will allow us to plan to have enough lunches on hand for all attendees.
