San Miguel REGION Meat Producers!
Goldenhorn Consulting Group is conducting a set of surveys on behalf of the Telluride Foundation and San Miguel County to determine the feasibility of either expanding a current meat processing facility or constructing a new one in the region. Results of the surveys will help them determine the amount of meat supplied by farmers and ranchers in the region and the demand for an expanded or new processing facility.
Survey links for beef producers, sheep and/or goat producers, and wild game lodges/hunters are below. If you raise pork, let the
San Miguel Basin Extension Office know and they will send you that survey. You can also stop by the Extension Office in Norwood to grab a hard copy. Each survey is about 10 minutes long. Please take the survey, or surveys, that apply to your operation. They would like to have surveys back by the first of March so we appreciate your quick response. THANK YOU!
